Rehabilitation

Metrisquare offers a multidisciplinary test and training solution, which is great for rehabilitation centers, since the solution can be used by (neuro-)psychologists, occupational therapists, as well as by speech and language therapists.

The following video shows an elderly patient at the HESS rehabilitation centre in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Germany) completing a Trailmaking task.

Below is another video, which shows a patient at RevArte Rehabilitation Hospital, performing cognitive tests while in a standing aid. We have asked patients, including elderly, whether they think using the tablet and stylus was convenient. Not only do they feel that it was not more difficult than the usage of paper-and-pencil, but also do they often say they prefer the tablet since they often experience problems in handling paper and preventing it to move while drawing on it, especially in case their motor skills are impaired or limited.
